Thursday May 17th, 7 PM --"Delicious Dickens": Charles Dickens Bicentenary Evening and Food Drive
Come and celebrate the life of England's famed Victorian author for an evening of Delicious Dickens! Our special guest Professor Don Vann and his wife Dolores will give a talk on Dickens & Food at our store. There'll also be a reading from a Dickens novel and complimentary tea and refreshments. Also present will be Stephanie Miller from Tea in Texas Magazine, who will give free copies of her publication to attendees. This event is free. In honour of Dickens' philanthropic spirit, donations of canned food for GRACE Food Pantry are encouraged.
